1. Tell us a little bit about you, your family and your hometown.
My name is Rhonee Rojas and I was born and raised in paradise, HonoluluHawai’i.   Hawai’i is known as the melting pot of the Pacific where east meets west.  I grew up with balmy sunny weather year round with tropical trade winds, green mountains and pristine blue waters.

I was a student-athlete growing up.  I played volleyball most of my life and I eventually went on to play for Penn State University.  I currently own and operate my own fitness company where I work as a health and fitness educator.

I come from a large tight knit family.  They are my support group, my rock, and my life.

Other things may change us, but we start and end with family.” – Anthony Brnadt

2. Describe yourself in one word.

Adventurous

3. What color do you think that best describes your personality and why?

RED.  This color represents fire, which is associated with strength, power, determination as well as passion and love.

4. What does it mean to you to become your country’s representative at Mister International 2011?
Being that I am Hawaiian, Filipino, Chinese, Spanish, and American, I am truly honored, privileged and blessed to represent the cultural and ethnic diversity that makes the United States of America what it is today.

5. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

My greatest strength is my leadership skills.  My weakness is saying NO to people.

6. How would you describe the typical day in your life?
I usually start off my day with a 6:00 am workout followed by a delicious egg white vegetarian omelet made by yours truly.  My day is filled with working with my clients and teaching them how to live healthier and happier lives.  My day usually ends at 7:30pm.

7. Where do you see yourself, let say, five years from now?

I would like to start my own non-profit organization which is geared towards providing sports equipment and health/fitness education to underprivileged children in developing countries.  Sports have given me so much growing up.  It has taught me dedication, perseverance, confidence, and teamwork.  I want to be able to give children the opportunity to learn and grow through sports like I have been blessed to do.

8. What is your biggest accomplishment so far?

Other than being the representative for my country in Mister International 2011, my biggest accomplishment is achieving my Bachelor of Science degree and my Master of Science degree in Kinesiology.  I am the first in my family to do so.

9. Share us your “Turn Ons” and “Turn Offs”

Turn Ons – humor, humbleness, and confidence
Turn Offs – rudeness, arrogance, and selfishness

10. What are your plans for the future?

I plan to expand my fitness company, start my non-profit organization, and to pursue my PhD in Sports Psychology.

Okay, let's talk about beauty...

11. What is your definition of beauty?

People always say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  And I agree with that.  I also believe beauty gets the attention, but personality captures the heart.

12. Share to us your beauty secrets.
If I share my beauty secrets it wouldn’t be a secret any more ;-).  Actually, after surfing or being in the ocean, I exfoliate my body with Hawaiian sand then moisturize.

13. What exercises/ workout do you do?
I circuit train when I workout.  I do a total body workout which helps to improve my mobility, balance, strength and stamina.

14. What part of your body are you proud of?
My SMILE J

15. What part of your body that needs improvement?

There is always room for improvement. No one is perfect.

16. What part of your body is the most vulnerable?
My feet.  I tend to drop things on them all the time.  I am in denial about being clumsy.

17. What kind of diet do you follow?

I eat anything and everything, but I keep the portions in moderation.  Actually, I take that back, I don’t eat everything……..I am allergic to sea food.

18. How much sleep do you get per night?
I try to get in at least 6 to 8 hours.

19. Describe your routines before going to sleep.

I plug in all of my I’s……..I-Phone, I-Pad, and my I-Mac.  Then I take a shower, brush my teeth, moisturize, set my alarm, say a little prayer, and turn off the lights. Goodnight!

20. How do you cope up with stress?
I am fortunate to live by the ocean.  The ocean is my calming effect.  It helps me get back into my normal rhythm.

21. Share to us your fashion sense and style.

It changes.  I can go preppy, skater boy, or T-Shirt with swim trunks.  It really depends how I feel or what the weather is like outside.  Who am I kidding?  I live in Hawai’i…….I wear a T-Shirt and swim trunks everyday.

22. How did you prepare for Mister International 2011?
I did my normal routine.  I ate healthy and worked out everyday.

23. In a competition like Mister International where there are lots of handsome men competing, what would make you standout?

My personality.  In Hawai’i we call it the ALOHA SPIRIT.

24. Who/ what inspires you to win this competition?

Growing up I have learned that “Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but rising up every time we fail.” This inspires me to do my best to represent myself, my family, my friends, and my country.
