MISS WORLD 2010: Alexandria Mills visits Philippines for the second time, attends Charity Gala Night!

The Fiesta Pavillion of the Manila Hotel, Philippines, was host to a Charity "Beauty With A Purpose" Gala Night on September 13th 2011. Donations totaling several million pesos were made in aid of homeless and deprived women and children nationwide. 

In attendance of this special evening was reigning Miss World, Alexandra Mills, along with US Ambassador, Harry Thomas. A range of paintings, sculptures and pieces of artwork were donated by renowned artists which were sold in a silent auction. 


The donations were received by the Tuloy Street Children Foundation who offer a 6-phase rehabilitation programme to aid growth and development of street children.  A donation was also received by the PGH Medical Foundation who assist the Philippines General Hospital with providing excellent patient care and healthcare to poor patients 

The Miss World Philippines finalists opened the Charity Night Gala with a charming sequence, highlighting their beauty and charisma. Organisers of Miss World Philippines said they were inspired by Miss World's “Beauty With A Purpose”.
