Miss Philippines Shamcey Supsup has started to create a fan base in Latin America as she leads the online voting conducted by Spanish speaking Telemundo.
As of this writing, Miss Philippines and Miss Venezuela, Vanessa Goncalves, are the two leading.
According to the reports, majority of Supsup's vote came from Latin and South American countries including Brazil, the host country for this year's Miss Universe's edition.
The Top 10 were dominated by Latina candidates and only Miss Philippines, an Asian delegate, is included.
