Miss Earth 2010 Nicole Faria is currently in New York City to participate in Jewelry Exhibit by Ramona Haar at the Philippine Consulate. The beauty from Bangalore will be a guest model in the show "Aurus" The Gold Of Mindanao on June 3 as Filipinos In the Arts in America, Inc., in cooperation with SAMSUNG, holds its first fund-raising drive this year at Samsung Experience, Time Warner Center in New York.
“AURUS MINDANAO” (The Gold of Mindanao) is a dance theater fashion show that pays tribute to Mindanao, the southern island of the Philippines,which is home to a rich culture of incredible depth, history and variety. The show is inspired by Greg Hontiveros’ "Butuan of A Thousand Years". Hontiveros recounts that "this ancient harbor, situated on a broad delta, played host to a vigorous exchange of native exports of gold."
