POLL: Majority wants Miss Intercontinental pageant to be included in the grand slam!

Beauty Mania surveyed the pageant fans and asked if the Miss Intercontinental pageant is worthy to become a part of the "League of Prestige", Beauty Mania's term for "grand slam" pageants. More than nine thousand pageant fans participated through an online poll and here are the results:

• 51.58% agreed that Miss Intercontinental should be part of the "League of Prestige".
• 38.95% however voted that Miss Intercontinental should not be elevated as a grand slam pageant.
• 9% of the fans were still undecided.

To be part of the League of Prestige (grand slam), a pageant should carry the following criteria:

• Credibility
• Quality (of contestants and winners)
• International Awareness
• Cause

At Beauty Mania, we believe that Miss Intercontinental pageant has what it takes to become a grand slam pageant. Still, the pageant with a bigger fan base always dictate its "grandslamization".
