Twenty-eight year old Francois Nell of South Africa bagged the Mister Gay World 2011 title in a pageant held in Manila, Philippines, on March 13th. This is the first back-to-back victory for South Africa and the first in Mister Gay World history. He succeeded his fellow South African, Charl Van Den Berg.
First runner-up went to Michael Kevin Holtz of USA, second runner-up is Israel Acevedo of Spain. Australia's Leigh Charles was named third runner-up while Aaron Comis of New Zealand became fourth runner-up.
